The Road So Far
01 · 2023
Founded in Bhubaneswar. First office: a ~50 sq ft underground room.
02 · 2024
First wedding — Dhiraj × Subhashree. Two cameras, film lighting, a Dumuduma office. 12+ weddings.
03 · 2025
Crossed 43+ weddings. New office on the NH bypass.
04 · 2026
50+ weddings by April. Pixzl's most mature vertical.
Visionary Behind Pixzlwed
Abinash Sarat Sahu
Founder & CEO
Started in 2014 with borrowed phones, then a Canon 200D in 2017 shooting weddings. A detour to Bangalore as a 3D artist, until 2021 brought him home to Odisha — an MBA, a corporate job, and one idea that wouldn't quit. In 2023 he built Pixzlwed: treat the ritual as the story, give Odisha's weddings the documentation their heritage deserves.
I never wanted to shoot weddings like everyone else — I wanted to shoot them the way they actually happened.
